Sleep Lab

Virginia Gay Hospital Seep Department has an opening for a part-time registered sleep technician. Virgina Gay Sleep Lab is an accredited sleep lab that proved home and lab sleep testing for the community.
Schedule:
  • 24 hours per week
  • 48-hour pay period
  • 7PM-7AM (12 hour shifts)
Job Requirements
  • Certification by a nationally recognized board and holds with the Registered Sleep Technologist (RST), Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPST)
  • Current license in the state of Iowa for Polysomnography or a dual license in Respiratory Therapy and Polysomnography
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current Iowa Child and Adult Mandatory Reporter Certification
  • 6 months’ experience in polysomnographic testing

Lab

  • 1st Shift MLT M-F with Occasional Holidays, Nights and Weekends
